Just got my copy of this game last night and played it twice so far with the wife. We both love it, more complex strategy wise than Checkers, yet much easier to learn than Chess! This will be the perfect game to play when we get together w/ our 8 year old Granddaughter who's already learning Chess. Appreciate the quality of the packaging and game materials!
Enjoyed playing it with my adult son before Thanksgiving. Played several times and probably took about 20 minutes per game. It was pretty easy to learn the rules and play, but also seemed like it could be challenging to develop a good strategy. I would say its more like chess than any other game. Look forward to playing it with family during the Christmas/New Year holidays and plan on giving it as a Christmas gift to a couple of people.

This new take on checkers is fun and challenging. - extremely well constructed--look forward to lots of fun with this new game--about to order one for each of my grandsons--try it-I think you will enjoy it. suitable for ages that play checkers-no upper age limit
Fun Game! More fun and strategy than checkers, but so much simpler than chess. Hits a sweet spot for fun with a bit of strategy. You can play any round as a casual/ simple round; or play with a little more strategy, and either is fun. Should make a nice addition to everyone's game room, and a nice present for any occassion. I hope you enjoy playing as much as I do!
